For for those with "unlimited Internet" check your terms and conditions! Although service providers claim they give you unlimited Internet you are restricted by a fair usage policy before they start to restrict your bandwith/download speed. So you might be allowed to download 100gb at 20mbs but after that the service provider might start bottlenecking the speeds to 5mbs depending on your time/usage.

You get the physical copy... 3) Have to update your system every couple of years at least. 4) Basic Internet connection is required for multiplayer Stadia 1) Price for 1 year: 12 × 10 = $120 2) Still have to buy the game.. You do not get physical copy. 3) No need for updating your system. 4) Requires high speed internet connection.

It depends on your need.. if you can manage doing 65 hours of gameplay in a month (little over 2 hours a day), then Stadia isn't for you. For someone like me... I don't wanna cough up a few thousand bucks on a killer PC just to play ONE game I'm interested in that my crappy laptop can't run.. and I would only play 4-6 hours a week, tops. Not only that.. I don't always feel like I wanna play ALL year.. I'll probably play for a month or two then take a month or two break. Clearly Goggle didn't think of me as their primary customer base example.. but think of me as the opposite of an extreme gamer, who's not a good example for Stadia either... Then there's a whole bunch of example in between where it works for them depending on their needs. That's how I see it. If you haven't guessed already, yes, I'm old!

What do you expect? If you want good image quality you need bandwidth. You can only gain so much compression without significant quality loss...

Ok let's play a game. Let's compare stadia to a pc. I won't even mention bandwidth or download caps. Pc: buy the game. Install the game. Play the game Stadia. Buy the game. Suffer from the input latency. Can't play the game. I don't care what Google says you WILL have latency You will have dropage. You are at the mercy of the internet! A storm can knock out your entire library for hours or your ISP fucking shit up. Or! Some dumbass hot a telephone pole knocking out your internet. Do you really want someone else to hold your game library and dictate the conditions of accessing it??

Lets be honest here. Most of us will play at 1080p 60FPS because only our TVs are 4K. Stadia doesnt charge for that, only the games. For someone that doesnt have a PC/console to play games on this will be great.

well yeah as all business products,its up to the customer to make educated choice to get a better deal,The seller are only to maximize profit and to nickel and dime customer. Also the subscription basically acts as xbox gamepass/ps plus without the need of buying the xbox/ps4 which is,if your point that saying subscription is piling up cost then people that bought xbox/ps4 and and paying subscription gamepass/ps plus are getting rip off because they are paying for subscription and buying the hardware

Too many people don't understand how connections work. if you think this will be the worst part about it. you are wrong. even if everyone in the world was on an unlimited plan. like it fucking should be. that is not the issue. DISTANCE is the issue. google doesn't have enough servers spread around close enough for EVERYONE. so if anyone wants to test how it will feel playing this. if you are in the US. go play on some EU server on a game you like. thats how it will feel. now if you play on stadia on MULTIPLAYER games. try to go to china. if you are from the US or europe. thats how it will feel. any input you make will go (simplified) You>google server > game server > google server > you so you can imagine the input delay and feedback delay you are going to have playing online. unless the server is REALLY close to you. only then SINGLE player games will feel some what fine. google isn't even talking about this. because they know this is horrid PR.
